another wickedly hot and humid day here in old CB, we went to Battleman's beach last evening. what a gorgeous place to walk...took some great photos and chased Hershey ( our dog ) all the way up and around the point, he was so enthralled with the new smells and sights that he could not even hear us calling him. The rocks are beautiful....large limestone chunks cut from the quarry to crib in the land behind the Point Auconi Generating plant....over to the left of the plant stand tall cliff faces with tree roots hanging down like hair and some even look like long witches fingers....layers of history are clearly visible on the cliff face....with more being revealed with each heavy weather that takes another bite...... photos I snapped, I played with on the pc with contrast and light to bring out the underlying colour....especially in the limestone...enjoy
